I was reading your blog a couple days ago.
Your daughter, Monique is paying over 5 grand
for summer school… Bummer!

Is it possible to take the spanish/public speaking summer
school classes at a different school (a city college) and
have the credits transferred over to St Johns?

It would be way cheaper…

Thank you for your question, Joan.
I’ll answer that by speaking from my own personal experience.

When I transferred from Hampton Institute in Virginia,
to Howard University in Washington, DC, I lost some credits
because all of my credits were not accepted by the new school.

In addition to that, it was a hassle to pay for and get one
school to send a transcript of the grades to another school.

Monique would probably have to pay application fees to apply
to another school, hopes she gets accepted to the summer school
program of a different school, pay that school whatever fees
are necessary and then get them to send the grades back
to the other school.
Although it may be possible to do so, it probably is not worth
all the aggravation and frustration to try to make it happen.
