If you are looking for scholarship money for the Fall 2007
year, you should know that most Foundations are not accepting
any more applications. Most application deadlines were between
January 1, 2007 - March 31, 2007.

You have to do some real hard searching to find foundations
still accepting scholarships applications for this year.

Below are a couple Foundations still accepting applications
for this year and some information for scholarship applications
for next year… Get an early start and increase your chances
of winning scholarship money for next year.

The Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship

The Jackie Robinson Foundation provides scholarships of up to
$7,200 annually to underserved high school students showing
leadership potential and demonstrating financial need
to attend an accredited 4-year college or university of their choice.

Applications are no longer being accepted for the class of 2007…
BUT the application process will begin again in October of 2007
for the class of 2008. Get an early start for next year!

The Mensa Education & Research Foundation
college scholarship program bases its awards totally on
essays written by the applicants. Consideration is not given
to grades, academic program or financial need.

Applicants need not be Mensa members.

The scholarship process began during the first week
of September and ended with the scholarship application
deadline on Jan. 15, 2007.

The deadline for the 2006-2007 Mensa Education & Research
Foundation Scholarship Program has passed.

Application forms are no longer available and
The deadline is firm without exceptions.

However, If you wish to participate in the 2007-2008
Mensa Education & Research Foundation Scholarship Program
and will be a student, application forms will be available
in September 2007. Get an early start for next year.
