Donald Trump - Up Close and Personal
I saw Donald Trump over the weekend - up close and personal.
It was at the Learning Annex here in New York City at the
Jacob Javits Center (which Donald Trump developed).
I sat up front so I could get a good look.
Trump actually looks better in person than he does on TV.
And he gives one hell of a speech.
He leads a very busy and interesting life and knows
how to tell a good story (and he has plenty of them to tell).
The gist of his speech is the premise of his new book
“Think Big and Kick Ass” co-written with the president
and founder of the Learning Annex - Bill Zanker.
Donald Trump started off by saying something the Learning Annex
doesn’t want you to know - that not everyone is cut out
to be rich. “Some people just don’t have it and never will”.
Trump said that one of the most important things that
you must possess if you want to succeed at the top,
is the ability to handle stress. If you can’t handle stress
then you’re not cut out for it. Go get a job.
Trump wasn’t the only speaker at the event which was called
“The Wealth Expo” and ran for 2 whole days, Saturday and Sunday.
Many other excellent speakers were present such as
Peak Performance Coach - Tony Robbins, former heavyweight champion
George Foreman, Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup for the Soul),
Former Federal Reserve Chairman - Alan Greenspan and many others.
And the Best Part - Admittance was FREE!
Now admittedly, most of the speakers were selling their seminars
or training programs, but the amount of information they reveal
for free is quite exceptional. Time with these experts is time well spent.
Most of the speakers have a real estate background and that was
the theme of the event. They even held land auctions in the Galleria
and gave the public the opportunity to purchase some excellent real estate
at a reasonable price.
