When the borrower of a Student Loan graduates, leaves school, or drops
to a less than half-time status this date is called the Separation Date.
The separation date is used to determine the loan’s grace period and
the date the first loan payment will be due.

Perkins Loan and SEOG in Danger…

(SEOG) are in danger of being eliminated by the Bush Administration.
Last Monday, The Bush administration proposed to slash subsidies
paid to financial institutions that make college loans.

Student Loans - PELL GRANTS
Saturday, February 3rd, 2007The Pell Grant Program is a need-based, undergraduate
grant program funded by the federal government.
Pell Grants may be used at both two-year and four-year colleges.
Five million students, one-third of undergraduates,
receive an average of $2,500 per year in Pell Grants to
finance their education at accredited colleges or universities.
